You can sit on one of the many windowseats and enjoy the beautiful views. Upon returning every year, I get overwhelmed at the beauty of this quaint village. The apartment is large and is ideal for a family. The owner continually updates, which makes the unit always fresh and a real pleasure to stay in.

This has THE most incredible location for anyone wanting the true Cote d’Azur Vibe. But it is an old building. There’s a bit of a lingering ‘old water’ smell and the wiring is a bit dodgy (don’t turn on too many appliances at once and keep a torch haplus

And yes, the other reviews highlighting the noise from the bars and cafes downstairs are accurate. But hey, even after a fitful sleep, when you wake up and open the windows to THAT view, nothing else matters.

This apartment is amazing, the rooms are large, the furniture is comfortable, and the location is amazing. It's nice to have a dishwasher and a washer and dryer. The location is very close to the train station, so it's easy to arrive and also to take day trips to other locations, such as Nice, Eze, and Monaco. This was our second time in Villefranche, and I think it's the perfect little town on the Riviera. After traveling to other, more busy towns, on day trips, it was nice to return to Villefranche and relax in this comfortable apartment. We'll be back, thanks again.

Waking up and watching the sunrise over the stunning blue water of the bay while sipping a tea is a special memory we’ll always hold onto, before setting off and exploring this magic part of the world. The place is perfectly set up for between 4-6 people, much more specious than we anticipated as it usually goes the other way! you can literally walk everywhere in villefranche which is great if you have limited time here, we’d highly recommend a day trip to Eze and lunch at La Cave Nature - which is right nearby and has some of the freshest seafood we’ve eaten. This place is a no brainer, offering exceptional value considering the space and location. We’d love to come back!

Actually the photos don’t even do it justice, if you can believe that! The views are amazing, unbeatable and the apartment is quite spacious. The hosts are so helpful and made it so easy for us by arranging the taxi to and from the airport, which I highly recommend. Also the location couldn’t be more perfect, so many restaurants and shops nearby. My family and I had the best time, would love to come back and rent the same apartment again!!

On the occasion of my wife and both turning 60 we had decided to invite both our sons and our future daughter-in-law to the French Riviera to celebrate, Initially we were to stay at Menton, as we were familiar with the area, but were let down and hurplus
On the occasion of my wife and both turning 60 we had decided to invite both our sons and our future daughter-in-law to the French Riviera to celebrate, Initially we were to stay at Menton, as we were familiar with the area, but were let down and hurriedly had to change, at a time when we had already booked flights and a car. Note that because of the difficulty,expense, with parking, and the great public transport links, I wouldn't recommend taking a car here. It was a good thing that we did. The apartment is in a fabulous location, with views right over Villefranche bay. The living area is spacious enough to accommodate even more than the five of us, and the kitchen has every convenience, (except if you really need a microwave) and more than adequate amounts of equipment. The largest bedroom was huge, with it's own ensuite area, and the other two bedrooms were OK, and also had their own bathroom areas. Villefranche itself has everything, and every evening was very lively. We ate out four times in a week in Villefranche and every restaurant was first class. I'm surprised at the lack of reviews. We arrived for eight nights in Villefranche-sur-Mer after a week in Paris. Our family is two adults and four kids, ages 5-14. We had the most enchanting time here possible, in large part due to this amazing apartment. For starters, it is HUGE, so if you have a party of six, everyone can be comfortable rather than having two bunking on an unwieldy fold-out couch in the middle of the living area. There are three full bedrooms in this apartment, and three bathrooms, so everyone was comfortable and there was never a queue for a toiletshower. The apartment is beautifully decorated in a French country style and appointed nicely, with plenty of towels, dishes, plates, referigerator space and modern appliances. There is a small room with separate washer and dryer, which was great for us (the small place in Paris had one machine that both washed and dried clothes, and they always came out looking clean but very wrinkled). This apartment is, most importantly, ideally located. There is a bakery about one minute walk away, and a supermarket with fresh fruit and vegetable also one minute walk away. It takes less than ten minutes to walk to the beachthe train, which easily gets you to Nice, Monaco, Eze, Canneseven Italy (about a 35 minute train ride away). All of the restaurants and shops are right at your feet, and with the giant living room windows open you can hear the happy tinkling of silverware as people dine along the water, and the comforting sounds of sailboats swishing in the harbor. The view from the living room is stunning, and it's wonderful to sit in the window and look out over the beautiful bay. Helene even arranged taxi transfers for us with the friendliest, most wonderful driver - we wanted to bring him home! A perfect experience for our family, from start to finish!
