We found Le May a most pleasant and perfect home base for our French Riviera holiday. The apartment is comfortable, super clean, completely and tastefully upgraded, nice surprise as way more spacious than the photos appear. A large well lit and spasee more
We found Le May a most pleasant and perfect home base for our French Riviera holiday. The apartment is comfortable, super clean, completely and tastefully upgraded, nice surprise as way more spacious than the photos appear. A large well lit and spa- like bathroom with giant walk-in shower with rain shower head. The attractive location absolutely cannot be beat! Right in the center of old town Villefranche, steps from the waterfront and a super quick walk to train or bus. The only caution is that it sits above a small courtyard where a popular restaurant and wine bar have their tables set up. I was nervous about the noise for sleeping. However, the windows are indeed thick, the chatter from the restaurant was only lightly audible. I am a light sleeper and I slept very well every night. Both restaurant and wine bar close at midnight (summer) and complete silence the entire night after midnight. My daughter and I had an excellent, fabulous experience staying at Le May. I would recommend it to close friends or family and certainly plan to return!
